Tabletop Letterpress Workshop

This workshop is a hands-on introduction to the Chandler & Price pilot platen and Showcard Mini proof presses. You'll:
- learn my make-ready, printing and clean-up process
- hand-set personal messages with wood or lead type and embellish with cuts (images)
- take home your own set of custom printed stationery
- learn the basics of letterpress printing including terminology, equipment, typesetting, traditional make-ready, ink mixing, press maintenance and more...
Location
Scarborough, Ontario just off the 401. If you're taking the TTC, it's a short walk from Scarborough Centre station.
Payment
50% non-refundable deposit payable by cash, Paypal or cheque. Due on registration.
I will provide you with a list of recommended letterpress-appropriate cardstock to bring with you.
The balance is due upon arrival at the workshop.
